Bancomail - Nonprofit Program Terms of Use
Preamble:
BANCOMAIL S.p.A. (hereinafter referred to as “Bancomail”) is a company incorporated under Italian law, with registered office at Via D’Andrade 34/106, Genoa, Italy, registered with the Genoa Companies Register under no. 506965, Tax Code and VAT Number 02727350999.
The Bancomail Nonprofit Program is intended for Organizations operating across various social and civil sectors, including welfare, education, healthcare, scientific research, culture and economic development. Eligible Organizations must be subject to a non-distribution constraint, meaning that any profits generated may not be distributed among their members. They must also be registered as nonprofit organizations with the competent government authority in their country of establishment.
Accreditation
The Organization is admitted to the Program by Bancomail’s Management following an assessment of the submitted application and supporting documents provided. Admission is granted at Bancomail’s sole discretion. Grounds for exclusion may include, without limitation: no verifiable activity during the previous 12 months; pending criminal proceedings involving the Organization’s legal representatives; predominantly political or lobbying activities; incompatibility with the values and goal of the Program.
The Adoption Mechanism
Accreditation does not automatically result in donations. Each Bancomail customer may adopt an Organization listed in the Program catalogue. From that moment onward, every order placed by the customer generates a donation to the adopted Organization. The donation is calculated as a percentage, as defined by the Program, of the net value of the order. Donations will continue to be allocated to the adopted Organization until the customer selects a different Organization or withdraws the adoption. An Organization may be adopted by multiple customers at the same time. There is no limit to the number of adoptions or to the total amount of donations that may be accumulated.
Communications and Materials
By participating in the Program, the Organization agrees that the materials it provides, including its name, logo, images and texts, may be used through Bancomail’s communication channels, including its website, blog, newsletters, direct email marketing campaigns and printed materials. These materials may promote the Program and the Organization through communications sent to Bancomail’s database. Bancomail will provide the Organization with a digital badge for its website and social media channels, linking to its dedicated Program page. Use of the badge is recommended but not mandatory.
